Istifkar: Media Transformasi Pendidikan is an academic journal owned and published by Sekolah Tinggi Islam Kendal (STIK Kendal), Indonesia. The journal is managed as part of the institution's commitment to supporting the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly in the areas of research, scholarly publication, and dissemination of academic knowledge in education and related fields.

The journal is managed by an editorial structure responsible for the entire publication process, including manuscript submission, initial editorial screening, peer review, editing, production, and publication. The editorial structure consists of an Editor-in-Chief, editors, reviewers, and other editorial personnel as required by the journal's policies and publication needs.

Istifkar: Media Transformasi Pendidikan conducts its editorial management based on the principles of professionalism, academic independence, transparency, accountability, and scholarly integrity. Decisions regarding the acceptance, revision, or rejection of manuscripts are based on academic quality, relevance to the journal's focus and scope, peer-review results, and compliance with applicable publication ethics.

Ownership of the journal by Sekolah Tinggi Islam Kendal does not compromise the independence of the editorial process. Editorial decisions are made objectively and independently without inappropriate intervention from the journal owner, institutional management, authors, sponsors, or other parties with vested interests.
