Peer Review Process

  • All manuscripts submitted to this journal undergo an initial editorial screening to evaluate their suitability with the journal’s focus and scope, adherence to author guidelines, and overall academic quality. Manuscripts that do not meet the basic requirements may be rejected or returned to the authors before the review process.
  • Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are then subjected to a double-blind peer review process, in which both the identities of the authors and reviewers are kept confidential. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise in the field.
  • The reviewers assess the manuscript based on several criteria, including originality, theoretical contribution, methodological rigor, quality of analysis and discussion, clarity of presentation, and relevance to the field of study.
  • Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editorial board will make one of the following decisions: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject. The final decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief.
  • If revisions are required, authors are expected to revise their manuscript according to the reviewers’ comments and resubmit it within the specified timeframe. Revised manuscripts may be re-evaluated by the reviewers or directly assessed by the editors.
  • Manuscripts accepted for publication will proceed to copyediting, proofreading, and final production processes before being published online in the journal’s official issue.
  • The journal publishes articles in English and Indonesian.
