Plagiarism screening

As a preventive measure against plagiarism, authors are required to conduct a plagiarism check using Turnitin to examine the similarity of the submitted manuscript with previously published works. A second plagiarism screening will be conducted by the journal editor. Submitted manuscripts must be original, not previously published, and not under review in any other journal. Any sentence directly quoted from other sources must be clearly distinguished from original writing by using: (1) indentation, (2) quotation marks, and (3) proper citation of the original source. Paraphrasing is strongly recommended rather than using direct quotations.

Manuscripts submitted to Halaqah: Journal of Multidisciplinary Islamic Studies must have a similarity index of below 30%.
