The style of language used in the Qur'an is unique and convincing. This study aims to examine the use of kalām khabar found in QS Al-Baqarah verses 54-55 from the perspective of balaghah, in terms of ma'ānī, with a focus on kalām khabar. It is one of the important disciplines of Arabic language in understanding the beauty and miraculous nature of the Qur'an. In this study, the researcher explores how kalām khabar is used to convey factual information that can be verified as true according to reality, without considering who is conveying it. This research employs library research with a linguistic approach. The results of this study indicate that both verses contain kalām khabar that, structurally and semantically, constitute news about events that occurred in the past. Verse 54 narrates that the people of Prophet Musa (Moses) wronged themselves, so Prophet Musa commanded his people to repent after they worshipped a calf. Meanwhile, verse 55 narrates how a group of those people boldly told Prophet Musa that they would not believe until they saw Allah clearly. Both sentences, when viewed from a purely linguistic perspective without referring to the Qur’an as revelation or considering who conveyed them, still fall under the category of kalām khabar because they convey historical facts that have occurred.
